UI/UX Designer

Akkodis is seeking a UI/UX Designer for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI (Hybrid). The ideal candidate with a strong ability to conduct user research, usability testing, and create intuitive, user-centered digital experiences.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

UI/UX Designer Job Responsibilities include:

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and journey mapping to understand customer needs and create intuitive end-to-end user experiences.

• Design user interactions across digital products, including touchscreens, mobile applications, voice commands, and other connected interfaces.

• Develop wireframes, prototypes, information architecture, and user flows that align with customer expectations and brand standards.

• Apply accessibility and universal design principles to deliver inclusive, user-friendly, and engaging experiences.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to solve complex design challenges and ensure seamless service experiences across multiple touchpoints.

• Leverage AI technologies, user insights, and design best practices to optimize product usability, drive innovation, and advocate for user-centered design excellence.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of professional experience in UI/UX Design, Interaction Design, Product Design, or a related discipline.

• Proven experience conducting user research, usability testing, journey mapping, and translating insights into intuitive user-centered design solutions.

• Strong proficiency with UI/UX design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.) and experience working within Agile/Lean product development teams.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
