VCIO/Technical Account Manager

Akkodis is seeking Technical Account Manager job with a client in Rochester NY. Must hold an Associates Degree to be considered. You will lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), help clients build 3-year technology roadmaps, manage IT budgets, and ensure their technology investments directly support their business goals.  You’ll oversee the overall quality of service clients receive, reviewing their technical alignment against our best practices, ensure engineering team is meeting expectations, and step in as the senior relationship manager to solve high-level issues before they impact the partnership.

Salary Range: $80k. to $95/k. The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Technical Account Manager responsibilities include:

·       Serve as the primary, high-level point of contact for key accounts, ensuring ultimate client satisfaction and long-term retention.

·       Partner with our technical team to audit client environments against our established standards, identifying hidden risks, vulnerabilities, or areas for improvement.

·       Collaborate closely with our Tech Ops Lead to ensure the service desk is delivering on our promises and meeting SLAs for your assigned accounts.

·       Meet regularly with client executives to deliver strategic roadmaps, security assessments, and budget planning.

·       Identify technology gaps during your reviews and recommend the right projects, upgrades, or solutions, naturally driving account revenue and earning your bonuses.

·       Act as the strategic point of contact for critical client concerns, ensuring smooth communication between the client's executive team and our engineering staff.

·       Assist with project management / remediation of compliance requirements: HIPAA, NIST/DFARS, PCI etc.

·       Prepare, schedule, and hold Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly meetings with customers including reviewing stats, open service requests, project statues

·       Performing Technical Alignment Reviews

Desired Qualifications:

·       Associates Degree is required.

·       Minimum 10 years related experience.

·       Experience understanding the rhythms of account management, SLAs, and multi-tenant environments.

·       Understanding complex infrastructure, and translating tech into business ROI

·       Experience managing B2B client relationships, handling renewals, and driving consultative project sales

·       Foundational knowledge of SMB tech stacks (Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, cybersecurity frameworks, backup/disaster recovery) so you can confidently talk strategy.
