Windows and Vmware SME L3

Akkodis is seeking a Windows and Vmware SME L3 for a Contract with a client in Wilmington, MA. The ideal candidate is responsible for designing, managing, and troubleshooting VMware vSphere environments while ensuring high availability and performance of ESXi infrastructure.

Rate Range: $50/Hour to $53/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Windows and Vmware SME L3 Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, implement, and manage VMware vSphere and ESXi environments ensuring high availability and performance.

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex infrastructure and virtualization issues.

• Plan and execute VMware upgrades, migrations, and VxRail implementations.

• Configure and maintain system security, disaster recovery solutions, and business continuity strategies.

• Monitor and optimize server performance, validate system changes, and maintain infrastructure standards.

• Provide L2/L3 support, handle incidents, and collaborate with IT teams to ensure 24x7 operational stability.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 6–8 years of experience in Windows and VMware infrastructure support.

• Strong expertise in VMware vSphere, ESXi, and virtualization technologies with hands-on experience in upgrades, migrations, and troubleshooting.

• Proven experience in disaster recovery, system security, and managing enterprise-level infrastructure with 24x7 support operations.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
