Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Windows and Vmware SME L3 for a Contract with a client in Wilmington, MA. The ideal candidate is responsible for designing, managing, and troubleshooting VMware vSphere environments while ensuring high availability and performance of ESXi infrastructure.
Rate Range: $50/Hour to $53/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Windows and Vmware SME L3 Job Responsibilities include:
Design, implement, and manage VMware vSphere and ESXi environments ensuring high availability and performance.
Perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex infrastructure and virtualization issues.
Plan and execute VMware upgrades, migrations, and VxRail implementations.
Configure and maintain system security, disaster recovery solutions, and business continuity strategies.
Monitor and optimize server performance, validate system changes, and maintain infrastructure standards.
Provide L2/L3 support, handle incidents, and collaborate with IT teams to ensure 24x7 operational stability.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
6–8 years of experience in Windows and VMware infrastructure support.
Strong expertise in VMware vSphere, ESXi, and virtualization technologies with hands-on experience in upgrades, migrations, and troubleshooting.
Proven experience in disaster recovery, system security, and managing enterprise-level infrastructure with 24x7 support operations.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
