Join an informative insightful and ‘uplifting’ discussion with four women shaping the future of tech and Aviation: Olga Custodio, Retired Lieutenant Colonel from the United States Air Force Reserves and Retired Captain from American Airlines; Asma Gasmi, researcher and industrial engineer at Akkodis; Nia Asemota, engineer, artist, fashion model and Product Manager at Spotify, and Veronique Rodoni, Group Senior Vice President, Human Resources for Akkodis. Olga, Asma and Nia talk candidly with Veronique, our moderator, about their personal journeys, the evolution of tech and the impact of AI in Aviation, and the symbiotic relationship between women and tech.

Reaching girls at a young age makes a big impact because if they can’t see it, they can’t be it.” - Olga Custodio.

Today, women remain a minority in both STEM education and careers, representing only 28 per cent of engineering graduates, 22 per cent of artificial intelligence workers and less than one third of tech sector employees globally.* This is changing due to the rise in organizations like Girls Who Code, dedicated to shrinking the gender gap in tech, the willingness of female role models to share stories of their personal tech journeys, and through the advancement of technology itself, with its plethora of online tools that have collectively served to create pathways for women to build up tech confidence and aptitude on their own terms.
