Akkodis Takes Strategic Steps in the Defense Market

Akkodis Nordics makes a strong move in the Scandinavian defense sector by becoming the main sponsor of INFO/ERFA and signing a letter of intent with Naval Group for Norway's new frigate program.

Groundbreaking Partnership with Naval Group on Norway’s New Frigates 

In parallel with the fair, Akkodis Nordics has signed a letter of intent (LOI) with Naval Group, one of the contenders to supply five new frigates to the Norwegian Armed Forces. The agreement opens the door for increased collaboration in developing technological solutions for maritime capability.

The cooperation between Akkodis and Naval Group aims to strengthen Norway’s operational maritime capabilities and is built upon Akkodis’ expertise in systems development, cybersecurity, testing, and life cycle support.

Akkodis Strengthens Nordic Focus with Appointed Defense Leader 

Akkodis Nordics has also hired Fredrik Landberg as a dedicated leader for its defense efforts in the Nordics. Based in Sweden, Landberg brings extensive experience from the Swedish defense industry and is also a reserve officer in the Swedish Armed Forces, focusing on air operations, command and communication systems, and cybersecurity.
