Duration: 9 Months assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

This position is provisionally Onsite, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.
About the Engagement
Akkodis is seeking an Intermediate Web Specialist to support digital communications activities with a strong focus on web content editing, accessibility compliance, plain-language writing, and analytics reporting. The resource will act in the capacity of an Advisor, Digital Content, ensuring all external-facing web content is clear, concise, accessible, and fully compliant with AODA and digital standards. This role is ideal for someone with excellent editorial judgment, strong organizational skills, and deep knowledge of accessible and user-centered content practices.
Scope
Provide recommendations based on accessibility best practices and plain language principles.
Collaborate with communications advisors and business partners to plan, refine, and publish digital content.
Prepare and manage copy decks, track content documents, coordinate workflows, and organize digital assets.
Monitor and analyze website performance using analytics tools; generate reports and insights to inform improvements.
Assignment Deliverables
Creation, review, and editing of web content in collaboration with business partners.
Content review reports and editorial feedback.
Analytics reports on website and content performance.
Support for accessibility processes and AODA compliance.
Expertise Required
Must Have:
3–5 years online copywriting/editing experience within healthcare or public sector.
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing or related field (or equivalent blend of experience and education).
Exceptional editorial skills: accessible writing, proofreading, copyediting.
Demonstrated experience with AODA, WCAG standards, and accessible web content production.
Experience creating analytics reports measuring content performance.
Nice to Have:
Experience auditing content to streamline and identify improvements.
Experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and accessibility evaluation tools.
